[colug-432] 200 line kernel patch

My problem is that I like to open several tabs at once in Firefox.  When
I do, the CPU peaks at 100% and stays there until I kill it.  As I read
the tabs I close them, but Firefox still takes the same amount of CPU
time until I close and reopen it.  I haven't noticed a difference in
that so far.
