[colug-432] Software developer track @ this year's linuxfest

[I'm not sure where to send this, so it's going to both colug and the
"ohiolinux-talk" lists]

I know there is a large contingent in central Ohio of software (and
firmware and hardware) developers working (or preferring to work) in
linux environments. What's the chance of adding some sessions with
content geared toward software developers at this year's linuxfest?
Maybe some topics like:
- linux in embedded systems
- hacking openSER and Asterisk for fun and profit
- libusb for beginners
- linux kernel hacking for the innocent victims of third-party drivers
- putting cloud computing to work in the real world
- eclipse for the GUI-shunning vi user
- linux kernel porting for the blissfully ignorant, er, eternally optimistic
- supporting a virtual development environment on linux for
distributed development teams
- change/configuration management systems for linux development
- linux-based approaches to taming gargantuan data sets
- integrating Octave/matlab and Octave/matlab-based tools in production systems
- using linux to construct robust/fault-tolerant products and services
- microcontroller shoot-out: which linux-based controller is better
for which application?

I'm sure there are folks in central Ohio who could present on many of
these; I'd bet that the surrounding states/province is home to folks
who could fill the gap on the rest.

Thoughts?

Jeff
