That would probably work if I was on the console itself.  But I'm actually 
viewing the desktop via FreeNX.  I'm not sure how an embedded VNC Viewer 
running on a NX-based desktop handles key translations.  And from a 
Putty-based command line going through screen (ssh in remotely and run 
/usr/sbin/xm console websec1) I'm sure those keystrokes are lost.
