[colug-432] "System Tray" for Linux

Does anyone know of a "System Tray" setup for Linux - specifically 
CentOS running Gnome?

I love Actual Window Minimizer which I use on my Windows boxes. With it 
I can require windows to minimize to system tray icons on the right 
instead of min/max buttons along the bottom. I would like the same 
capability when I use Linux.
