Late last year I went back and forth between a Droid and a G'Zone Rock.  I 
liked the fact that I could take underwater video with the GZ but in the 
end the versatility of the Droid, complete with its data fees, won out. 
If all you're doing is syncing I don't believe you have to purchase the 
most expensive $30/month data plan...
