Some here are friends of James Gaston

James was recently diagnosed with a cancer, seemingly centered 
in the tonsils, and after radioisotope tracer testing, 
confined there and not metastasized

I just got a call from Jason, James' and Kris' oldest child

James was out walking after the tonsil and lymph node removal 
surgery last Monday, had a seeming pulmonary embolism, 
collapsed and died

Funeral arrangements pending, but probably Thursday
