I posted this on my G+ feed, and one local COLUG'er re-g+'d it 
yesterday which suggests that others might be interested

GitHub is having a meetup tonight at 7 pm at Brazenhead on 
Fifth Ave ... Free admit, and it indicates they are picking up 
a drink tab as well
