MEETING NOTICE

Central Ohio Linux Users Group
Date: Saturday, June 30 2012 from 1 PM to 3 PM local

Meeting Presentation
==============
Brian Miller will give a brief overview of the virtualization
landscape, including non-Linux options.  He will look specifically at
Linux containers (LXC, which has support built in to the kernel), KVM
(which requires kernel modules), and VirtualBox (which also requires
kernel modules).

Brian should have virtual machines under all 3 options, and will give
his opinion as to where each of them would work well.

As always, feel free to bring with you any ailing or problematic
systems for expert diagnosis (or destruction).

The upcoming meeting is open to the general public, and all with an
interest in Free Software, Open Source, Linux, KVM, Xen,
virtualization, BSD, Unix, Windows, are invited.

There are no dues or fees.
