The following have been tested and work for me: 

   ineo I-NIA315Ue external IDE/SATA hard drive enclosure with 
   USB Hi-Speed and SATA interfaces. 

   Kingwin USI-2535 USB to IDE and SATA interface
   works fine, but generates enough RF to interfere with 
   radio reception. 

   Bytecc BT-PSAPA PCI SATA/IDE controller card
      two SATA ports
         one internal only port
         one internal or external port
      one internal IDE port

   Bytecc BT-PESAPA PCIe SATA controller card
      two SATA ports, each either internal or external
      one internal IDE port

   Kingwin ADP-06 SATA to IDE Bridge Board
