Note: differentiate this make-a-thon from the 3D printing maker fairs.
(Though this one *does* use 3D printing.)

Over the weekend, this past electronics club at Ohio State hosted a
make-a-thon, following the hack-a-thon tradition. (see
http://hack.osu.edu/) OH I/O was one of the sponsors.

I am behind on some to-do items. Wanted to share about the event with
this group. Most of the projects included one or more full-fledged
"computers" (Beaglebone, R Pi, or at least an Arduino). Many of the
projects involved some rigorous coding. Thought it was a hardware event,
so much hardware is software defined anymore. So ... thought y'all would
find it interesting.

This is the first (hopefully of many), so maybe they'll do it again next
year.
