I had some impedance mis-match when going the other direction a couple
years ago.
Got a pair of audio transformers taking 8 ohms (speakers) to roughly 1K
ohms (line-in).
Worked.

I forget if the transformers came from Rad Shack or somewhere else.
Lately, MicroCenter actually does stock a decent selection of parts. A
shorter drive than Cinci for Fry's. (I wonder if M.Center pays Fry's to
not operate in their home town.)
