Mostly what I understand you need to modify when moving from bowden to 
DD is speed and retraction.  Because you've essentially gotten rid of 
the bowden, you should be able to dial retraction down to pretty much 
nothing.  Because of the weight of the extra motor, you'll need to slow 
down your print speed.
