I've regularly backed up my 3.1 Gb CVS repository to DVD. About two months ago the backups started failing.<br><br>What I've discovered is really strange. I did some testing and found that I can record parts of the repository to CD or DVD. I have isolated a small chunk (~200 Mb) of the repository that I can record to CD but not to DVD. I get an unhelpful error message and nothing show up in the system logs.</span><div><font class="Apple-style-span" face="monospace"><br></font></div><div><font class="Apple-style-span" face="monospace">I've rsynced the repository to another box and the behavior is the same. </font></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: monospace; "><br>I have been using the default gnome disk burning app. I've also tried Brasero and gnomebaker. No joy in mudville.<br><br>Any suggestions? I'd hate to keep going through blank DVDs trying to isolate the problem file.</span></div></body></html>
