The only app that finds the microphone is Chat Settings in gmail
running on Firefox. Both the default device and Webcam B500 Analog
Mono work. The Webcam is a Logitech UVC Camera (046d:0807). The bar
for Webcam B500 Analog Mono shows volume changes in the Volume
Control/Input Devices (PulseAudio Volume Control). Other than these
examples the system remains without mic input.
