<div dir="ltr">I thought one of the coolest things at LinuxFest last year was the HP Moonshot booth. The hardware showed real innovation, and it was neat to see ARM chips packed into a powerful server architecture. The server density and power efficiency was pretty cool too.<div>
<br></div><div style>Anyway, thought you'd like to know they've officially released the hardware for purchase:</div><div style><br></div><div style><a href="http://venturebeat.com/2013/04/08/hp-moonshot-launch/">http://venturebeat.com/2013/04/08/hp-moonshot-launch/</a><br>
</div><div style><br></div><div style>Sadly, the first available modules are Intel Atom Centerton based and not ARM based. ARM is still planned, however, but my guess is that going x86 is an easier sell for them into the Enterprise, even if ARM offers better price/compute/power stats (though Intel seems to be catching up).</div>
