I remember hearing about a computer that had just enough internal<br>
power to write its brains to disk when it lost the grid. So ...<br>
really, the SSD is a computer (it has a processor) and hands off cache<br>
to NAND flash before the end comes. Nice.<br>

Do y'all realize we're talking about a $1300 drive in this case?<br>
(100GB is $400 at NewEgg, but the article discusses the 200GB model,<br>
which I cannot find below a grand.) The vendors are still able to<br>
gouge "enterprise" customers. [sigh]<br>
