Hm, I wonder if that might have been the reason behind some of my high ping times:
I think the two interesting ping times that stood out were:

It seems that the last hop from TWC to Level3 and the first hop into Level3 in Chicago seem to
always have a problem if the route goes through there.

I do not have TWC, but for the last week my connection goes down in
the evening until the next morning. I am in Texas and the trouble
has been area wide. began to think it was something server related.
I am guessing that somewhere along the line my traffic goes thru TWC
servers. It came up this morning, no packet loss, but very slow.<br>
