Might have been 2 GB max, as it probably had a mobo from a different
manufacturer as I stated below. 2 Dell computers might have the same
Model #, but can have different specs.<br>

I found 4 GB max for the machine from the link below. A
lot of times Dell's info is dated to the time of
manufacture. The info I got was relevant to the Service
tag number. Dell may use mobo's from any number of
manufacturers for a particular product and they can be
different.<br>

Performance will be marginally better with
two sticks, but considering<br>
the overall specs of the system, probably
not enough to be noticeable.<br>

If I can find where I put it, I did have a
couple of sticks lying around<br>
that I'd be willing to let you borrow to
test. Heck, if I find it, and<br>
it works for you and you make me a
reasonable offer, I'd even sell it to<br>
you for a good price.<br>
