I had asked for other sTORies but not gotten much. No problem,
except that there's going to be a gap on the presumed expected
content. I've never used TBB (Tor Browser Bundle). If anyone has
experience with TBB, please be there. Others will likely want to
hear. <br>

Also ... as noted ... we'll have discussion about Keybase.io (and
a possible PGP/GPG signing) and Heatbleed (and how it affects
Tor). <br>

* discuss where to get Tor and related tools
* show simple "client" configuration
* show how exit nodes work
* demonstrate how "hidden services" work
* outline some of the strengths and weaknesses of the Tor network
* and ruminate on the rationale for using Tor (or not)
Rick is a Unix oriented programmer/developer and sysadmin with a
penchant for checking out new tech and other shiny thing. He has used
virtualization for 30 years, the internet for 25 years, and PGP for
20 years.
There's been some discussion of Keybase (<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://keybase.io/">https://keybase.io/</a>), and
it's possible that folks in attendance will have invites available.
The meeting offers a good opportunity to perform in-person
verification of identity for the purposes of signing public keys.
As always, feel free to bring with you any ailing or problematic
systems for expert diagnosis (or destruction).
The upcoming meeting is open to the general public, and all with
an interest in Linux, Free Software, Open Source Software, Tor,
security, privacy, encryption, GPG, Keybase, Windows, BSD, Unix, are
invited.

Plenty of parking is available. Go to the door at the southwest corner of
the building. Ring the bell if nobody is there to let you in.
This is an industrial area. It's pretty safe but I wouldn't leave valuables
