<div dir="ltr">I'm of two minds with systemd, which I'm becoming mopre familiar with as I work more with RHEL/Centos 7<div><br></div><div>On the one hand, it does allow for system startups in usually <5 seconds. And systemctl both maps to service (after allowing for the annoying reversal of action and service name) and absorbd chkconfig, which was always a bit clunky to me.</div><div><br></div><div>OTOH, adding a service to systemd or analyzing an existing service is a pain. Systemd configs are nowhere near as simple as good old init scripts.
