There is a large Insurance company located downtown Columbus that
looking for someone with Linux experience to help admin subversion and
Harvest/CA SCM.  It sounds like they want someone with a good
Linux/scripting knowledge base that can be brought up to speed on the
actual tools because most people don't have experience with everything
the team touches.  Granted knowing your way around apache is a good
skill to have for SVN.

Role Description

The Code Management Team is responsible for the management and
migration of application code through the multiple Test and Production
environments.  We accomplish this task through administering multiple
tools and employing various scripting techniques.  The team consists
of Source Code Management, Build, and Deployment experts.

The Code Management team works with our IT Business partners to ensure
their application code is successfully migrated from development
environments into managed, webhosting environments.  We are not
involved in the development of our business partner’s applications,
but we do move the apps from environment to environment.

The primary responsibility of this role involves administration and
support for Subversion (SVN), as a subject matter expert.  The role
also involves administration and support for Harvest/CA SCM and Team
Foundation Server (TFS).

Other responsibilities may include configuring xml files and related
shell scripts for automated software deployments and installations as
well as administration of other products used to support software
configuration management, build and deployment services.

Opportunities may also be available for windows .NET and VB
development, administration and support.

Role Accountabilities
1.     Support existing Subversion, Harvest and Team Foundation Server
environment.
2.     Provide strategic direction to improve our code repositories.
3.     Working knowledge of all components of Subversion, Harvest and
Team Foundation Server.
4.    Subversion administration: installation, configuration, usage.
5.    Subversion Edge installation and configuration.
6.    Apache installation, configuration.
7.    Unix or Linux and shell scripting.

Experience Requirements
1.     Experience with one or more of the following technologies is a plus:
* Subversion administration, installation, configuration, usage
* Apache installation and configuration
* Subversion Edge installation and configuration
* Unix or Linux shell scripting

2.     Experience with one or more of the following technologies is a plus:
* Perl
* Harvest / CA SCM
* Oracle SQL
* Visual Safe Source
* Team Foundation Server
* Development experience in .NET, VB


3.      Applicants will also be evaluated for the following:
