[ Summary ]

The Systems Administrator at CoverMyMeds is a member of the Infrastructure
team, which shares responsibility for all facets of technology operations.
The ideal candidates for this role will have broad full stack experience
with deep understand of many of the technologies. The person who fills
this role will be a key contributor on the Infrastructure team deploying
infrastructure, improving performance, and automating repeated tasks with
a focus on scalability, availability, and security.

[ Job Duties ]
Responsible for the infrastructure and operations including but not
limited to the following:

*	Administrates, builds, and maintains physical Dell servers and VMware
virtual infrastructure running Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) including
internal and external facing infrastructure with a focus on high
availability, automation, and scaling.
*	Responsible for performance tuning, configuration changes, and software
updates on RHEL servers. Ensures that software updates are performed
within the patch management schedule.
*	Administrates, maintains, tunes, and configures Open Source web
application stacks including technologies such as Apache, PHP, Python, and
Passenger.
*	Implements and documents system changes in a repeatable fashion
following infrastructure standards. Automates and standardizes using Bash
scripting and Puppet configuration management software.
*	Performs backups and recovery testing ensuring that all infrastructure
is backed up using CommVault backup software.
*	Participates in Disaster Recovery (DR) and ensures infrastructure meets
DR requirements.
*	Ensures that the 99.9% availability target is met that may sometimes
involve after-hours response and problem resolution as part of on call
responsibilities.
*	Performs network changes on Dell PowerConnect devices including port
configuration and other changes as needed.
*	Administrates SonicWALL firewalls including adding and modifying
firewall rules.
*	Configures, tunes, and provisions storage on an EqualLogic iSCSI SAN.
*	Manages and configures F5 load balancers.
*	Works with RDBMS from an operations perspective tuning and seeking
opportunities to improve technologies such as Postgres and Microsoft SQL.
*	Monitors, reviews, and configures monitoring and analytics solutions to
ensure that infrastructure is proactively maintained and that any issues
are detected quickly using existing or augmenting technologies such as
Solarwinds, Errbit, New Relic, Pingdom, and Nagios.
*	Implements and applies security policies to infrastructure and
understands the application of common security tools such as central
logging, vulnerability scanners, FIM, IDS, and IPS. Audits and reports on
patching and compliance controls correcting deviations proactively.

[ Qualifications ]
The ideal candidate will demonstrate these qualifications:

*	Three (3) or more years experience as a Systems Administrator or
equivalent combination of education and experience.
*	Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Able to adjust
communication style to non-technical audiences with varied backgrounds and
abilities.
*	Full stack knowledge (physical to application) and experience with a
focus on automation, availability, and scalability.
*	Attention to detail, strong troubleshooting abilities, and consistent
follow-through.
*	Understanding of HIPAA and security, privacy, and availability controls
as it relates to job duties is a plus.
*	Experience and willingness to work with Microsoft technologies such as
Windows Server, Exchange, and SharePoint is also desirable but not
required.
