"Embedded Linux for Fun and Profit"
Jeff Frontz and Larry Howell will lead a discussion of using Linux in
the embedded world--for your vocation or your avocation. Topics we
can cover (audience and time permitting) include: cross-compilation,
debugging, kernels/distributions (selecting or crafting),
architecture, latency, I/O, and more. Bring your questions, your
experiences, your curiosity.
The upcoming meeting is open to the general public, and all with an
interest in Free Software, Open Source, Linux, BSD, Unix, embedded
systems, cross compilation, and the like are invited.
There are no dues or fees.
The September 2009 meeting will be held at:
1275 Kinnear Rd,
Columbus, OH 43212
The group meets on the LAST Wednesday or LAST Saturday of a month,
alternating by month to allow more folks to mesh their schedules with
COLUG's. Sites and dates also depend on facility availability, with
common-sense relocation in the holiday season. The web page often has
a link to a map to the upcoming meeting site.
