And another option is that we have 2 separate start times (say PM is
at 6, and COLUG is at 7), and if you have absolutely no interest in
one of the meetings, you can easily skip it / show up at the right
time.

But I'm thinking having both at the same place on the same night will
result in higher attendance for both.
