Yep, you have packet loss!  I've never seen packet loss like that from 
my wireless connections, so I would have to say that is not normal.

How old is AP?  I notice on the net that earlier versions of that AP had 
a lot of complaints about packet loss.  Is it running the most up to 
date firmware?

Also, have you checked for update Broadcom firmware?  I notice on some 
of the Ubuntu forums complaints about the Broadcom card if the most up 
to date firmware isn't isntalled.
