Associate an Elastic IP to a particular instance and avoid this issue.
I run my wiki with an EBS root so my instance and it's data are
persistent. I do occasional snapshots to S3. I've associated an
Elastic IP to that instance with DynDNS pointed to it. Been running
this way for months.
