In more seriousness-ness, I never did like using 'less', probably because I
never took the time to actually learn how to use it efficiently without raging
at my confusion.

For the past few years or so, I've been using a one-liner I have received from
somebody in the Open Source Club that basically replaced the need for me to use
'less'. Maybe somebody on here might find it useful too:

> export PAGER="sh -c \"col -b | vim -M -c 'set nonu ft=man nomod nolist titlestring=MANPAGE' -\""

I'm sure you change the 'vim' part and the appropriate arguments for vim to your
preferred text editor, if you so desire.
