[colug-432] SPARC hardware give/take

I have a (Linux) project that wants a SPARC box for build. Had a working
machine with a bad memory stick. Then picked up some additional machines
from Bill Schwanitz (circa 17 months ago). But I'm so rusty with actual
*Sun* keyboards that I have not been able to wedge Linux onto them. Am
lost w/r/t knowing when I am seeing a hardware problem (ie with the
machine) or peripherals or software. (All of them ran Solaris at some
point; most probably still do ... if they could only boot.)

Am willing to trade the lot for >one< working machine. (And I can offer
Linux-for-SPARC in several flavors, including my own, for what that's
worth.) This might also involve an hour or three of guidance.
