For what it's worth, I recently switched from Chrome to vimprobable2, which
is very lightweight. It also expects you to have vi-style keyboard commands
in your fingers, and if you don't you might find it offputting. It also is
*very* minimal, so you can used to life without frills. But it's fast, and
it runs without complaint on my Raspberry Pi 2 (unlike Firefox and Chrome
which brought it to its knees).
Vimprobable2 is one of a family of minimalist webkit-based browsers. The
others, like surf, are too minimal for me, but YMMV.
