Meaning only the Intel card? Possible. Yes. I ran I opened hardinfo from 
terminal (system Information). Under Summary > Multimedia > Audio 
Adapter it shows HDA-Intel. I do not see any reference to Sigmatel. 
Maybe it is named something else. Did not see any Sigmatel when I looked 
at hwinfo.
