The Product Development Team is responsible for all Accelematics™ application lifecycle management activities. Using our product roadmap and customer use cases as a guide, the team develops domain models, ETL processes, web services, and web applications that organizations use to securely share clinical data between collaborating research and clinical sites for purposes such as rare disease research and comparative effectiveness research (CER).

Job Description.

Signet Accel is seeking experienced System Administrators to deploy, configure and manage a variety of physical and virtual server and desktop resources.
 
This position will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer.
 
Key Roles and Responsibilities
-----------------------------------------
Gather, evaluate and document hardware resource requirements.
Build virtual server images for deployment at a variety of cloud-based hosting environments.
Deploy and manage servers to meet the needs of our product and services teams.
Deploy and manage servers to meet the needs of our distributed data sharing networks.
Perform regular updates to server resources.
Review vulnerability reports for issues that may affect our systems
Operate and maintain server monitoring for availability and performance to identify and correct possible anomalies.
Understand and apply industry standard security practices across the full range of physical and virtual deployments.
Provide infrastructure recommendations in accordance with industry best practices, to enable product development and customer support.
Provide documentation of all managed resource configurations, including secure storage of user credentials and licenses.
Monitor progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports and recommending action.

Minimum Requirements
--------------------------------
System Operations experience 2+ years
Associates degree or equivalent experience in information systems technologies and management
Receipt and timely response for automated issue notifications with necessary escalation to management.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Experience working with high data security standards
Background in developing server management strategies
Excellent written and verbal communication
Excellent personal management skills including the ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast paced environment
Ability to travel to client and partner locations with potential for international travel
A continuous interest in expanding knowledge of server management practices through hands-on investigation of technologies and tools with recommendations to senior management.
