I tried Unity on 11.04 for a couple of weeks on my desktop setup
(1280x800 laptop screen plus a 1920x1080 LCD in portrait mode)...
Clearly the designers of Unity didn't conceive of such an arrangement.

I will abandon the distro before I try Unity again.
