MEETING NOTICE
==============
Central Ohio Linux Users Group
Date: Thursday, June 23, 2011 from 7 PM to 9 PM local
Meeting Presentation
==============
We have a double header this month!
Rob Foreman will talk about Zenoss Core versus Zenoss Enterprise: the
good, the bad, the ugly of using Zenoss for performance monitoring and
alerting in a heterogeneous environment of Windows, Linux, JBoss, MS
SQL and more.
Jon Hogue will look at the various technologies available to monitor,
test, and automatically gather data from websites through scripts,
including wget, curl, lynx, Perl's http::proxy and selenium (full
firefox navigation). A hands-on demonstration of the arsenal of tools
will follow, showing how to do "interesting things" to websites via
script.
The upcoming meeting is open to the general public, and all with an
interest in Free Software, Open Source, Linux, BSD, Unix, and the like
are invited.
There are no dues or fees.
