[colug-432] Skype and GUVCView Sound Problem

I once had a similar issue as you described. Worked before a re-install and
then didn't afterwards... my culprit was that my audio source was muted. I
discovered this via using "alsamixer" from the command line, see the "MM"
for a muted source and hitting 'm' to un-mute it. Just a guess, obviously.
